About the Bobcat Inn

The original Bobcat Inn lodge was built in the 1950s as a private residence and has undergone renovations between 2002 and 2008 and more recent updates have been performed in the last few years. There is a huge parking lot with plenty of space for everyone even if you are hauling a trailer, driving an RV or moving truck. The inviting 2500sf front patio with seating & a rustic fire bowl takes you to the front porch, with a relaxing wagon wheel porch swing. Walk into the front door leading you into a large living room with a warm comfortable fireplace and a seating area featuring built-in bookshelves with a variety of books ready to be read. Local newspapers, magazines and games are also available. The breakfast seating area is on the opposite side of the large inviting room. When you walk through the kitchen, you will enter the full gift shop loaded with jewelry (skillfully crafted by one of your hosts and other local artisans). Off the gift shop you are led out to a relaxing and welcoming courtyard style 3000 sq ft patio with a propane fireplace and plenty of seating. Just beyond there is a flower garden with native plants and a quaint koi pond with a waterfall. If you venture outside of the patio/courtyard area, several plant and flower gardens, a vegetable garden and a small vineyard lead to local trails on our peaceful 10 acres. Not to mention several trails within miles of the Inn.

There are incredible views of the Sangre de Cristo and Ortiz Mountains as well as Rowe Mesa. We are only 12 minutes from the historic Santa Fe Plaza but have the peaceful serenity of the Inn whenever you want or need it. The warm and inviting accommodations are your "home away from home" after a day of strolling around the plaza, hiking in the picturesque Northern New Mexico landscapes or relaxing at the several hot springs in northern New Mexico. After you go out to fill your bellies at any of the amazing Santa Fe restaurants, enjoy amazing sunsets and stargazing right outside of the lodge.

Every room in the B&B has a warm and inviting setting to rest and recharge in preparation of the next day’s exploration of whatever may await you. Each room is themed with different settings relevant to New Mexico culture. They are: Soleil, Fiesta, Santa Fe, Eldorado, Luna, Estrella, Route 66 and Turquoise Trail. Each has a unique view of different mountains – ask us if you are intrigued. There is a full private bathroom in each room (some with whirlpool tubs) where guests can take their time getting ready for the day and some have fireplaces. We have complimentary high speed wireless and cable TV in every room. Our guests can come out to the dining area in the morning to enjoy a leisurely breakfast including early morning staples and local culinary treats and snacks.

After getting the guests on their way for the day with local information, directions and restaurant recommendations, we will freshen the rooms for their return. When they return, we will have some baked goodies and an in-season fruit basket for them to snack on before retiring for the evening. If the guests choose, we will also be available for them to talk to about where their next day’s plans will take them, especially for first-time Santa Fe visitors. Ask us about our extensive digital guide book you can download onto your phone so you can start planning your adventures before you even get here!
