We’re open & excited to welcome our guests with some updated health and safety protocols recommended by New Mexico and the CDC. The Bobcat Inn owners and staff, are and ServSafe® certified, NM Safe Certified and trained in all COVID-SAFE practices.
The Bobcat Inn has always made the safety of our guests & staff a priority. As we all continue to assess and respond to the challenges everyone is facing due to COVID – 19, we remain committed to our core values of safety and customer service. Here is what some of those changes may look like:
Wellness: We are asking screening questions and taking temperatures of guests and staff. Any guest or staff who appears ill or answers “yes” to our screening questions will not be permitted to enter the B&B. We encourage guests who are not feeling well to visit the Bobcat Inn at another time.
Facemasks: Guests and staff are required to bring and wear facemasks at all times while in common areas unless consuming food or beverages. Facemasks are not required outdoors if social distancing measures are maintained unless speaking with another person who is not of your personal party (i.e. Inn staff or other guests)
Social Distancing: All guests and staff members must limit the potential of physical contact as much as possible. Additionally, common areas will require guests to practice social distancing with 6 feet of separation.
Rooms: We are running air purifiers/sanitizers in the rooms (and living/dining room) at all times. We are following the NM recommended occupancy and blocking off a minimum of 1 night after a reservation when possible.
Hand Hygiene: Proper and frequent hand washing for 20 seconds is required to help combat the spread of germs and viruses. Hand sanitation stations will be available throughout the B&B.
Public Spaces: There will be an increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in all public spaces with a focus on high traffic areas like counters, door handles, light switches, and public bathrooms. Air Purifiers are running 24x7 in all public spaces as well.
Ongoing Training: The housekeeping team is receiving ongoing training to meet new cleaning and hygiene protocols. Additionally, the entire staff has completed the New Mexico Safe Promise (COVID – Safe Practices) and are NM Safe Certified.
Modified Housekeeping Services: All guestrooms will be cleaned, sanitized, and sealed prior to arrival. To ensure safety, the Inn staff will not re-enter any guestroom once checked-in, including housekeeping for routine, freshens. Any special requests from housekeeping, such as fresh towels, water, coffee, etc. will be fulfilled upon request, we will check with you each morning to accommodate any needs you may have.
Breakfast: Breakfast will be served outside on the patio, weather permitting. Otherwise in the dining room (with seating spaced to adhere to spacing requirements) or in your guest room, if requested.
Cancellations: Our cancellation policy is still in full effect on our website. Cancellations due to known, foreseeable, or expected events, epidemics, or fear of travel are generally not honored. Therefore, we recommend that you get full travel insurance to cover yourself against any other disruptions that may happen.
We understand this may cause some inconveniences, but please be patient while we continue to make updates as recommended guidelines are revised to best keep you and our staff as safe as possible.
